First seen in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Acidic Glavenus is a Brute Wyvern and a subspecies of Glavenus.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
Since the female Acidic Glavenus are never seen in the game, all of them are male. The body of acidic Glavenus has dark gray spikes and horns and a range of emerald and blue hues. Typically, his tail is covered in yellow crystals that, when scraped off, expose a dull blue sword that resembles a katana. He has dark red eyes.
Abilities and Behavior[]
Because of its lighter tail, acidic Glavenus can control its tail attacks better than ordinary Glavenus, and as a result, it employs both wider and more accurate tail slashes and jabs. Acidic Glavenus behaves more like the regular species since its tail is heavier when covered in acidic crystals. When it comes into contact with the highly corrosive acid on its tail, Defense Down may result.
