Anton Ego is the overarching antagonist of Disney/Pixar's 2007 animated feature film, Ratatouille. He is a food critic who left a bad review at Gusteau’s Restaurant which caused it to go down from 5 to 4 stars.
He was voiced by the late Peter O'Toole.
Why isn’t he heroic or villainous?[]
- While he has a cold demeaner, he isn’t outright malicious. Furthermore, he has no acts of heroism.

In contrast to Auguste Gusteau, Anton Ego is a cold and mostly emotionless man who thinks highly of himself. His facial expression is more often then not a sour scull. But by the end of the film, he's is a much more of a cheerful man.

- However, the fact that Anton Ego's critical deception was the catalyst for the argument between Remy and Lunguini.
- He was on Heroes wiki but was removed as he has no heroic acts.
