Augustus "Spike" Jones is a minor character who appeared in the movie, Monsters, Inc.

On the Scarer's Leaderboard, he is ranked eighth. Waxford is his assistant.
Spike does not really appear in Monsters University, although during the credits, his image may be seen on a Scare Card. In Monsters University, it is also disclosed that he attended Fear Tech and was employed by Fear Co.
He went to see the company play "Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me" with a number of other monsters.
Description[]
He resembles an enormous, fat red slug-like creature with an orange face and an abundance of purple spikes covering his back. At any time, he can pull back the spikes.
