The Barioth are a species that are from the science fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter 3.
Why aren’t they heroic or villainous?[]
- They are mainly minding their own business until the hunter comes.
Physiology[]
With a head that resembles a saber-toothed cat, Barioth is a quadrupedal Flying Wyvern. Spikes adorn its neck, spine, and tail, while its body is primarily coated in frigid white plates. Its face is adorned with two enormous, curving tusks that are colored amber. Its forelegs have three enormous claws and lethal spikes along the length of its wings, making them longer and more formidable than its rear legs. Barioth has a forked tail that is spike-ridged.
Behavior and Abilities[]
Barioth is very protective of her territory. Any hunter who steps foot in its realm will be attacked. When it becomes tired, it will consume Popo or Anteka. Barioth will have crimson eyes when furious.
Even seasoned hunters find it difficult to take down Barioth because of its rapid movement and unpredictable attacks. Barioth makes it difficult to follow by sliding on the ice with its fangs and claws. It may induce the Iceblight state by slithering its tail to its side and wielding it like a club. It can launch a homing glide assault on gullible targets from the skies using its claws and wings. Barioth has the ability to produce a wind blast; it will spit forth an ice ball that may produce a strong tornado. This tornado has the potential to cause the hunter to become Snowman Status. But Barioth is too tired for this wind blast to function. Barioth, like other pseudo wyverns, is capable of side leaps and dodges.
Habitat[]
Barioth lives in cold places like the tundra or the snowy mountains, where there are many of huge roaming herbivores to prey on.
