Biography[]
Barry DePedal joins the Piston Cup Racing Series mid-season during the 2016 season, replacing Bruce Miller on the RPM team. He has mainly finished races in high positions since his debut. He finished 4th at the Rustbelt Raceway and 3rd at the Heartland Motor Speedway. During the 2017 season, he races in the Florida 500, starting from 12th place. He is primarily in the top 15 throughout the race, and was involved in the crash caused by Cam Spinner but was able to continue racing without colliding with other cars. He restarted in 12th place and stays mostly in the top 20 for the rest of the race, ultimately finishing in 13th place.
