Bill Walter is the main antagonist of the 2011 film Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. He was a new member or Löded Diper who Frank Heffley hated for his laziness and the fact that he is kind of a jerk.
He was portrayed by Fran Kranz.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
- He isn't a villain due to not committing any crimes, and he is a simple jerk at worst.

Rodrick Rules[]
He appears for the first time alongside Rodrick Heffley at the Rocket Rollers Roller Rink, where he works as a DJ. Later, he meets up with Rodrick one evening at the Heffley home, where he invites himself to dinner. He tells Rodrick and Greg that being a major rock star is a little tough, due to the lack of home-cooked meals on the roads. However, he proceeds to make note of the female fans and the parties. Susan Heffley shows a favorable attitude when Bill decides to join the band, although Frank is unimpressed.
When Rodrick and Greg started getting along better, Frank continues to dislike Bill and thinks he is a horrible influence on them. This is shown as Greg hangs out with Rodrick's band, Löded Diper in the garage and Frank is annoyed by them all making fart jokes with the microphone. Greg narrates how Frank is afraid that Greg will turn out like Rodrick, and they will all turn out like Bill.
When Rodrick gets banned from playing in the talent show as part of his punishment for throwing a party, he begs his parents to reconsider because it could be the band's big break and how Bill had just joined the band. However, his father replies that it does not help his case and proceeds to call Bill a jerk. While this was to express his dislike towards Bill, it proved to be true when Bill replaced Rodrick with another drummer and planned to have the band perform without him, despite Rodrick being the one that started the band. After Rodrick's punishment was lifted and was allowed to perform, during the guitar solo, Rodrick kicks Bill out of the band.
