Bishaten is a Fanged Beast first introduced in Monster Hunter Rise.
Appearance[]
Bishatenbeast. The majority of its body is coated in cream-colored fur, with blue fur covering its limbs and legs. Like its relative Kecha Wacha, Bishaten possesses patagia on its arms, which it uses to construct wings that it can fly around on. These patagia are held up by a single wing finger and coated in feathers that have a cyan tint. Its limbs terminate in five fingers: four of them are small fingers with black claws, and one is the wing finger. Its thumb is likewise opposable. Only three of its legs' fingers, though, terminate in claws like to these. But Bishaten's "fifth limb" is its most unusual characteristic. Like Great Maccao and Somnacanth, Bishaten possesses a powerful tail that can sustain its entire body weight. Moreover, its tail terminates in a "hand" with five "digits". Located in the middle, with two smaller lobes on either side, is the largest lobe. Hard shells cover a portion of the tail hand. Bishaten utilizes the pouch on his abdomen to store a lot of different types of fruits. There is a lengthy white fur patch over the legs that resembles a tiny set of wings or a bird's tail. The fur becomes brown at the edge. With a big, bony protrusion between its eyes and a smaller one on its forehead, Bishaten has a peculiar facial structure. It's interesting to note that the top jaw contains nostril holes, and both have a bony, beak-like protrusion at the front. Its ears are likewise quite big. A mane of blue and white fur covers its neck; females of the species have manes much smaller than this one.
Behavior and Abilities[]
While it can eat anything, Bishaten seems to prefer fruits. Its belly pouch is usually filled with vast quantities of different fruits. Like Kecha Wacha, Bishaten is an inquisitive creature who revels in pulling practical jokes and tricks on both humans and other creatures.
Being exceptionally acrobatic, Bishaten can execute many acrobatics that require it to whirl its entire body. It can assault or hurl a fruit at its adversaries with its tail, and it can stand on it for extended periods of time. It can also swing its entire body while maintaining a tight grasp on a surface with its tail. It can also glide ahead toward opponents by using its wings. Furthermore, if necessary, it may use the fruits in its belly pouch to harm its enemies. It uses several types of fruit to have the ability to poison and stun opponents.
