Brendon (also referred to as Unemployed Brendon by his younger brother, Briefcase) is a minor character in the 2022 TV series based on the famous webseries, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, he briefly appears in the first episode. Jobs
He was voiced and performed by Becky Sloan.
Biography[]
Brendon first appears in the episode when his younger brother (Briefcase) says his name, he then appears in a small spotlight, and then sings a short song about him being completely jobless. After the song ends, he says that he doesn't want to sing the song anymore (which implies that he has been singing it for a while), and gets angry when Briefcase calls him Unemployed Brendon, and takes his anger out by trying to punch a hole in a wall (but he only ends up breaking his hand instead). And also gets angry at Red Guy when he asks Brendon if his hand is alright, and tells him (along with Yellow Guy and Duck Guy) to leave him alone.
He then reappears at the end of the episode, and (presumably) leaves with his younger brother off-screen to have a bath, after the end of the episode. He never reappears or is mentioned once in the series afterwards (along with Briefcase).
Appearance[]
He appears as a small briefcase, but with eyes, a mouth, and other humanlike features, on top of this. He also wears black pants, brown shoes with laces, and white gloves.
He also wears a name tag that says "Unemployed Brendon" on it as well.
Personality[]
He is shown to be very short-tempered and wrathful, as he gets angry just because Red Guy asks if his hand is alright, and he is also shown to be somewhat scapegoatish as well. As he is forced to sing a song when Briefcase says his name, and he is shown to be very tired when he is shown to sing it.
