Bubba Wheelhouse is a minor character in Cars 3. He is the Next-Gen racer for Transberry Juice.
He is voiced by Darrell Wallace Jr., whom he is based on.

Biography[]
In Cars 3, Bubba joined the Transberry Juice team to race in the Piston Cup, replacing the previous racer, Markus Krankzler. He first raced at the Mood Springs Sputter Stop 350 at the Georgia Super Speedway and finished in fifth place. He finished fifteenth at the Bumper Save Gears and Glory 450 at Heartland Motor Speedway. During the Los Angeles 500, he started in ninteenth place and finished in seventeenth.
Before the Florida 500 race, Bubba was interviewed about Lightning McQueen's possible whereabouts. He said that it might be better if Lightning did not show up to race after his accident last season. Bubba started the Florida 500 in 27th place. During the race, Cam Spinner caused a big crash, and Bubba almost hit Steve "Slick" LaPage. He finished in 20th place. After the race, Bubba, Danny, Chase, and Ryan congratulated Cruz Ramirez on her win. Bubba made a joke about Cruz's blinker being on instead of just congratulating her, which was similar to a joke McQueen had pulled on Cal Weathers in the 2016 season.

Bubba Wheelhouse is Next-Gen 2017 Race Car SA-3. He, like all other Piston Cup racers, uses Lightyear tires. He has blue eyes. He has a purple livery, with a blue stripe on the hood and around his side windows. On his doors, he has a yellow stripe that transitions into a bunch of circles. He has the number 6, painted in yellow, on his doors and roof. He has dark blue spots on his hood and on the back of his sides. His rims are black. His headlights have a blue trim on them.

- Bubba is named after his voice actor, Darrell "Bubba" Wallace Jr., who is a professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. He additionally competes in Xfinity Series driving a car with number 6, same number, Wheelhouse uses.
