| ~ CLASSIC unknowingly seeing the first hint of the Serverblight |
CLASSIC is a supporting character and false protagonist of [SFM/HORROR] SERVERBLIGHT: Reflection, the fifth episode of the SFM horror series Serverblight by 2IdiotGermans. He is a Team Fortress 2 player who fell victim to the enigmatic titular Serverblight, which violently tormented him in one of its server invasions.
CLASSIC was first introduced as the protagonist of the teaser video for Reflection (the teaser later renamed Offline), which seemed to portray CLASSIC as the episode's protagonist and gave some background information on him. The teaser ultimately turned out to be a prequel to the episode, which instead followed Breadolphin, the overarching protagonist of the series' first episode, The Empty Server.
CLASSIC was voiced by YouTuber Burkey.

At some point, CLASSIC downloaded Team Fortress 2, acquiring cosmetics and befriending several players, including spoogz, MillionD007, KEYBOARDDESTROYER2000, Bison Man, and Breadolphin. CLASSIC appeared to main Scout, gaining 4618 points as the class over a 682 hour total playtime.
Offline[]
One day, CLASSIC joined a Sawmill community server where some of his friends were playing. Joining RED as Demoman, he cheerfully greeted them on the mic, getting reciprocal responses from them in text chat. CLASSIC then left spawn, passing Bison Man (RED Engineer) and spotting spoogz (BLU Pyro) on a rooftop, greeting him- but getting no response back, just a silent stare.
CLASSIC then found No Body (BLU Scout) trying to cap the map's control point, chasing the Scout off the point and blowing him up with a sticky bomb. CLASSIC proceeded to return to the control point, only to see spoogz once again staring at him from atop a staircase. Somewhat unnerved by his friend's odd behavior, CLASSIC left and talked to MillionD007 (RED Heavy), MillionD007 recounting how he effectively scammed someone by buying an unspecified item from them for 2 keys. As the pair laughed over it, CLASSIC prepared to sticky jump, only to see spoogz once again staring at him from a rooftop before running off.
Not knowing if spoogz's behavior was a joke or not, CLASSIC finally asked what was wrong with spoogz, but MillionD007 revealed that spoogz hadn't been online since the previous day. Confused, CLASSIC sticky jumped onto the roof to follow spoogz, but couldn't find him anywhere. Further unnerved, CLASSIC could only ask "what the fuck?" while staring out over the map, not realizing that his character was starting to lip sync to his voice- for "spoogz" was already an assimilated thrall of the Serverblight, a paranormal entity that stalked TF2 servers for more players to add to its gestalt.
Reflection[]
Later, Breadolphin (BLU Spy) joined the match, CLASSIC apparently moving on from the strange encounter with spoogz. While by a pond in the map, CLASSIC watched Breadolphin pull a trickstab on another RED Demoman, congratulating him over it. CLASSIC then asked how Breadolphin had been, and Breadolphin shrugged that "it is what it is". Breadolphin then revealed that someone kept messaging him, regretting accepting the friend request, and CLASSIC answered that Breadolphin should simply block the other user. Breadolphin agreed, and CLASSIC decided to log off, encouraging Breadolphin to keep going as Spy because the rest of players sucked.
However, when CLASSIC tried to disconnect, he found himself unable to, for the Serverblight's presence had disabled disconnect as it started to phase players' minds into the game. Additionally, unbeknownst to the pair, a second Serverblight component, HeadshotFraudster (BLU Sniper), had just joined the game, unseen by the two as it hid behind the nearby waterfall and grotesquely distorted to a gargantuan form. As CLASSIC stood confused over being unable to disconnect, he failed to notice HeadshotFraudster's giant, claw-like hand hovering over him, looking up just in time to see it before it snatched him into the air, assimilating him and dragging his mind fully into the game.
GUILLIESUIT (RED Engineer), one of the first Serverblight victims, then joined the game, used by the creature as its primary host for the invasion. CLASSIC was then warped into a serpentine form, left lucid enough to continuously scream in pain and terror as he was wrapped around the distorted GUILLIESUIT like a sash. When dicksalot and Breadolphin eventually reached the midpoint of Sawmill, where the control point was, GUILLIESUIT walked out to confront them, distorted to a brute-like figure with CLASSIC still wrapped around him. Smiling through GUILLIESUIT, the Serverblight walked to a nearby buzzsaw and stood before it, letting CLASSIC be repeatedly cut by the moving hazard as CLASSIC screamed in anguish on the mic, angering dicksalot. Despite being registered as being killed several times over and undergoing unimaginable pain, CLASSIC survived, still writhing on GUILLIESUIT's body.
dicksalot then used a rocket-surfing technique to get Breadolphin over GUILLIESUIT, and then rocket-jumped over the Serverblight puppet himself, leaving the SERVERBLIGHT roaring in frustration. Not too long afterwards, dicksalot and Breadolphin found a way to escape the server, via fatally rocket-jumping to have their corpses land out of bounds, where the Serverblight couldn't follow. The Serverblight then used CLASSIC's voice to create distorted snarling on the voice chat, with dicksalot soon coming across the assimilated CLASSIC, now back to a seemingly normal form, standing idly in the distance watching him, presumably under complete control of the Serverblight. However, instead of attacking, CLASSIC simply walked away.
