Although Carla is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is well-known for her wild nighttime dancing during the renowned "CAR-nival," nothing brings her more joy than being on the racetrack. After breaking the local circuit record, Carla was called up to the European 24-hour endurance racing squad. This patriotic Brazilian Le Motor Prototype racer is now competing in the World Grand Prix and is wearing the #8.
She appears in the Radiator Springs race as well as the other three. She comes in third in the Tokyo race. She is the first vehicle struck by the radiation beam from the lemons in the Italy race. But she fixes herself and resumes racing. Her pit in London was to the left of Jeff Gorvette's pit. She doesn't speak in the movie.
