Cephadrome are a species that are from the science fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter.
Physiology[]
Yellow eyes, pink or yellow fins, and skin coated with scales are characteristics of cephadromes. Because of the sand coating their body, their skin appears brownish black. Their flat, diamond-shaped head, which resembles that of a hammerhead shark or the extinct amphibian Diplocaulus, helps them move through the sand, as do their fins and tail.
Abilities[]
They often flee by plunging into the sand because to their caution during fighting. To hurt hunters, they employ hipchecks, tail swipes, and sand stream shooting.
They have been observed to stun prey with their dorsal fin while swimming. Like the Plesioth, they can be halted by a sonic bomb that will scare them out of the sand since they have amazing hearing.
Behavior[]
Although cephadromes are quite aggressive, if they believe the threat to be too great, they will use evasive tactics.
Habitat[]
Cephadrome is a desert-adapted organism. Their bodies have grown incredibly streamlined as a result of their adaptation to swimming in the sand.
