A variation of Gore Magala, Chaotic Gore Magala was first seen in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. They are Elder Dragons whose metamorphosis into a Shagaru Magala were halted, leaving them as deformed monsters in constant pain. Thanks to their strength and aggression as a result of their agony, hunters are sent to kill Chaotic Gore Magala on sight to put them out of their misery.
Physiology[]
The Chaotic Gore Magala, despite its unusual name, is simply a regular Gore Magala that has been traumatized or somehow disrupted during the molting process into a Shagaru Magala. The mature Shagaru Magala will eliminate competitors for their territory by using their virus to prevent any Gore Magala in the area from molting. It appears that immature Gore Magala are merely left in their juvenile form, but those that were molting will have their transformation abruptly stopped in the middle, turning them into Chaotic Gore Magala.
Consequently, one side of its body has only molted halfway. It has a single vestigial horn and eye, half of its body is partially covered in golden scales, and it resembles a cross between Shagaru Magala and Gore Magala due to its incorrect molting process. If left to their own ways, Chaotic Gore Magala will eventually perish because this state is extremely unstable.
Abilities[]
All of the Gore Magala's skills are still present in the Chaotic Gore Magala, but because it is half adult, it has more strength and ferocity. Because to its partial metamorphosis, it also possesses some of the Shagaru Magala's potential and skills, including stronger virus attacks. It is far more careless than its mature version, though.
Behavior[]
Compared to a regular Gore Magala, the Chaotic Gore Magala is more aggressive and violent. Because of its incessant discomfort from failed molting, it has an unpredictable, angry, and unstable temperament that makes it lash out at anything that gets in its way. Chaotic Gore Magala is therefore regarded as a greater menace than Shagaru Magala. In order to put an end to its rampage and give it a dignified death, hunters are entrusted with tracking it down.
Habitat[]
Only a few times has Chaotic Gore Magala been spotted. So yet, it has only been seen in Everwood and the Heaven's Mount. It has been spotted recently in places like the Shrine Ruins.
