The Chickens are popular a passive species of Mobs/animals of the indie game, Minecraft.
Appearance[]
They have blocky appearance and are rather small. Chickens in Minecraft have white feathers, a dark yellow beak, and red wattles (the fleshy skin that hangs from their neck). They have two blocky wings on the left and right side of their bodies. Their legs are yellow and thin with their feet being flat like that of ducks’. They lay pixelated eggs, which players can collect and use for various purposes.
Behavior[]
Chickens are passive creatures, letting the player contact them without it going hostile, but when a Chicken is attacked, it will quickly flee for a few seconds making it a little more difficult to take them down due to their fast running. Chickens mostly inhabit grassy biomes where they can be found in a small group of 2, 3, or 4. When Chickens fall from a high place, they will start flapping their wings and go down in a safe manner, making them unable to die from falling. They vocally make typical clucking noises.
