The citizens (良民) are titular supporting characters of Taiwanese animated series Brave Animated Series, based on the comic Brave Series (勇者系列) by Yellow Book. They refer to disaster victims invited by the Brave Guild to escape poverty. They were settled in the Guild City's most prestigious communal housing, sharing the benevolence and peace of the Brave Kingdom alongside the highest-ranking citizens. They were saved by six Braves: Sorry Brave, Kindness Brave, Mercy Brave, Dragon Brave, Sword Brave and Chief Brave, separately.
They are voiced by Taiwnaese eight voice actors: Wu Chia Hua, who also voices Mercy Brave; Xu Huang Jia, who also voices War King; Chiang Ching Yen, who also voices Sword Brave; Tseng Yun Fan, who also voices Sage, Sick Demon and Bunny; Fu Pin Cheng, who also voices Morewant and Lava Cheese; Hu Chen Hsi, who also voices Volcano Papa and Flame Hot Dog; Meng Qing Fu, who also voices Superstar Brave and Fire Phoenix; and Ma Guo Yao, who also voices Old King and Fallen Mad Demon, in the same animated series, separately.
Why Aren't They Heroic Nor Villainous?[]
- Due to the small number of episodes of the citizens' history in this anime series, it is impossible to determine whether they are heroes or villains.
- The citizens are passive victims, viewed by the Brave Guild as subjects requiring disposal to preserve the guild's reputation. They are instructed to stay away from the truth and have their emotions manipulated, rather than being portrayed as heroes or villains with independent will.
Appearance[]
The citizens wear all-white attire, including long-sleeved tops with yellow trim, long pants with yellow trim, and black shoes.
Personality[]
The citizens are a compliant, easily guided group who follow broadcast instructions, queue up and move in an orderly fashion during emergencies. They are described as "ignorant sheep" who need know nothing beyond peace—keeping them away from the truth is a form of mercy. When the Fallen Mad Demon appears, they fall into panic and may even be affected by his Madness Spell, becoming enraged and violent.

- In the original comics, the citizens first appeared in Guild City, unaware of the identities of Kindness Brave and Mercy Brave. They coexisted alongside demons disguised as humans.
