Coach Cooper

Coach Cooper is the main antagonist of the Dhar Mann video "Skinny Kid Kicked Off Football Team". He is a corrupt coach who harasses Mitchell for him being too skinny to play on his team alongside Craig.

He was portrayed by Chris Ready.

Why isn't he heroic or villainous?[]

While he did harass Mitchell along with Craig, this is only to present him as a jerk rather than a villain.

Biography[]

Mitchell wanted to try out for the Bookside football team, but they all make fun of him with the coach for being too skinny. The coach starts an Oklahoma drill where Craig instantly knocks Mitchell down, mocking him that he should try out for ballet or cheerleading instead.

After Craig and Mitchell get into a fight in the locker room, the Coach stops it and asks them what is going on. Mitchell says he just wants to be apart of the team, but the Coach tells him he is just wasting his time and will never be apart of the team, again stating that he is too weak and skinny.

One month later, Bookside loses against the Bishops, the team Mitchell was playing on after he transferred schools to do so, frustrating and disappointing Coach Cooper. His son, Craig, angrily asked Mitchell how did he do that even though he's just a scrawny little kid, and he repeats the same moral his father told him, but Craig shoved him backward and stormed out of the field while Mitchell's team celebrates.

Personality[]

Not much is known about the coach other than that he is quite corrupt and harasses skinny planners whom he thinks are not cut out for his team. His son, Craig, shares a similar personality to him, in which he likely inherited these traits from Cooper as he made fun of Mitchell for the same reasons.

Trivia[]

He shares the same last name as John Cooper, a former American football player and coach, meaning that his name could be based on the latter.
