The Cops are a group of police officers the Marvel Ghost River comics.
History[]
The Cops that appear in the Ghost Rider comics make their first appearance after the Owner of Daniel's Truck Stop calls them because of Dixie's mysterious behavior. The cop arive at the truck stop and ask Dixie to step out the room. However Dixie refuses she tells them to come back later and she will explain everything as the police try to unlock the door Dixie fires a waring shot to scare them off. After firing her gun at the police they become even more determined to find out what is going on in her room. After a few failed attempts to get her out the cops bust open the door where they find a scared Dixie with a dead body.
After breaking into the room Dixie tells the cops that the dead body is one of Lucifer's Avatars and that she has to kill it. The police have a hard time believing her story until they body comes to life. The policie then open fire shooting everywhere after that the cops believe the avatar is dead until it starts moving again. The second time they fire their guns again they hit one of the officers in the arm with a stray bullet and one bullet hits Dixie right in the chest. The officer in charge is not happy about the mistake of getting shot in the arm and about Dixie's death. With Dixie death the officers know they will never get the real answer to what was going on.
