The Customer is the main antagonist of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode, "Pizza Delivery".
He is an rude, ungrateful and ruthless fish that ordered a pizza from the Krusty Krab, only to berate SpongeBob and Squidward for "forgetting" his Diet Dr. Kelp.
He was voiced by Mr. Lawrence, who also voiced Fred in the same series.
Biography[]
The customer is first heard ordering his pizza late at night to Mr. Krabs. Despite the place not serving pizza along with being closed, Mr. Krabs' greediness allowed his order to proceed. SpongeBob and Squidward then travel to his house, and nearly get stranded in a desert.
When they finally got to the customer's house, he asks SpongeBob where his drink is. When SpongeBob asks what he's talking about, the customer proceeds to wrathfully scold him for forgetting his Diet Dr. Kelp, along with not valuing the customer before slamming the door on SpongeBob, leaving him in tears. This was enough to rile up Squidward, who marches back to the customer's doorstep and furiously bangs on his door. When the customer becomes annoyed of Squidward trying to force him to pay for his order, Squidward lit into him by throwing the pizza at his face, saying that it's on the house.

- This fish has a similar appearance to Tom, who behaves the opposite to him.
- The scene where Squidward throws the pizza at the customer while shouting "Well, this one's on the house!" has became a meme.
- He is the first character in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise to make SpongeBob cry. Additionally, he is also the first character to have SpongeBob break down into tears in mere seconds.
