The Delex are Piscine Wyverns that appear in the science fantasy video game Monster Hunter 3.

Abilities

They can "swim" in sand, just like the Cephalos, and they can even shoot tiny sand blasts at assailants from their mouth. Waterblight can sometimes be caused by these blasts. They are challenging to strike with slower weaponry because of their agility. When they fight Jhen Mohran and Dah'ren Mohran, a number of them show up, leaping onboard the boat and attacking any Hunters who stand in their way. Delex probably prey on tiny animals and hunt in packs of six or seven people. They also feed on the remains of larger monsters that live in the desert, including Jhen Mohran.
