Desert Seltas

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate added the Neopteron, or Desert Seltas, a subspecies of Seltas.

Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]

Physiology[]

This subspecies appears to have a lower capacity for flight and has a green, orange, and brown shell. Instead of the common species' one barbed spine, its canopy has two pronged structures, and its eyes are a vivid green.

Abilities[]

Desert Seltas may dig into the sand to attack prey from below, unlike the common type. Additionally, it has the ability to paralyze people with three yellow globs.

Habitat[]

The Dunes, Ancestral Steppe, and Sunken Hollow are home to desert seltas.
