Introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the Desert Seltas Queen is a Neopteron and a subspecies of Seltas Queen.

Physiology[]
Compared to the ordinary variety, she has a narrower tail pincer and a brownish olive-green shell. Her eyes have the Desert Seltas' vivid green color.
Abilities[]
The tail may drag her digging male counterpart out of the sand and appears to be much longer and more expressive. She can even mount and launch a partner or a stuck hunter on a water blast with remarkable accuracy using her tail; the former can break the drone to bits, allowing her to pluck a new drone out of the ground.
Habitat[]
The Dunes are home to the Desert Seltas Queen.
