Dexter and Jessica Keane are minor characters from The Amazing World of Gumball. They are the parents of Alan Keane.

Dexter is voiced by Hugo Harold-Harrison, while Jessica is voiced by Alex Jordan.

Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]

Their appearances largely amount to just minor background roles.
- While Dexter pretends to hijack the school bus in "The Bus" with other adults, it's not villainous due to the hijacking merely being pretended. It's also not heroic because he's just teaching the kids a standard lesson about skipping school.

Appearances[]

Dexter is a rubber balloon, but is orange (red in a few episodes). He wears glasses and has a mustache. In "The Bus," he is red and has a different mustache. In "The Fuss," he is seen in formal "attire;" he has slicked down sideburns.

Jessica is a rubber balloon with a face drawn with permanent ink, but she is colored yellow. She has big eyes with eyelashes and has lips.
