Disco Bear is a recurring character of the black comedy web series Happy Tree Friends.
Biography[]
Past[]
Disco Bear was formerly a disco dancer who loved to dance to music. However, prior to the series, he retired and gave up his career. Despite all of this, Disco Bear still dances to disco to this day. However, most of this is implied heavily.
Present[]
Disco Bear currently lives in a disco home in the town and constantly shows off his dance moves. He also flirts with the female characters on the show, although Giggles and Petunia seem to dislike him.
Ipso Fatso[]
Disco Bear is first shown getting ready to go outside his disco home, and goes to a diner, where he tries to hit on Petunia and Giggles, only to be rejected again and then fat-shamed by them. Disco Bear realizes that he is overweight and goes to the gym. However, while on one of the treadmills, his sweat ends up malfunctioning the machine, causing it to go haywire. It starts running over most of the Tree Friends inside the gym, and even Cub. He ends up crashing and falls onto Lumpy's wheelchair, as they end up heading into the road. Disco Bear uses Lumpy's antlers to direct the machine, before they crash into a wall, killing Lumpy, as Disco Bear crashes into a wire and is decapitated.
Personality[]
Disco Bear is an intolerant and selfish person who usually only cares about flirting with females, who seem to dislike him (except Flaky). He can be very sympathetic at times, such as when he broke his back (which exposed his spine), and suffered for the rest of the episode in "Put Your Back Into It". He also does not have a good relationship with most of the other Tree Friends.

- Disco Bear actually has a picture of him naked, albeit with a censored bar over where his p*nis is supposed to be.
- He was originally disliked by the creators, before his role in the TV series made him more popular.
