Players that swim close to dolphins, who are neutral mobs that inhabit non-frozen oceans, get a speed boost.
Habitat[]
With the exception of frigid and frozen environments, dolphins live in pods, or groupings, of three to five in all ocean biomes. They spawn exclusively between levels 50 and 64. Like squid, dolphins spawn continuously as long as their spawn requirements are satisfied and naturally despawn if no players are nearby.
Behavior[]
Dolphins typically swim in groups, but they will occasionally jump out of the water to breathe. They can jump from one body of water to another as well. They also pursue players who are in boats.
