Dratula is a supporting protagonist in the 2025 surreal adventure game ENA: Dream BBQ.
He is a mischievous resident of the Hub and one of the first people encountered by ENA in her adventure to find the Boss, which he assists in by giving her and Froggy the Boss's location. Despite his vampiric appearance, he seems to actually be a penguin, something which he's oddly insecure about.
He is voiced by Vincent "Vinesauce" Franzetti.
Why isn't he heroic or villainous?[]
- While he helps Froggy find the Boss's location and is fairly nice, Dratula doesn't do anything noteworthy enough to be considered a hero or a villain.
Appearance[]
As his name suggests, Dratula is a bulky, vampire-like humanoid. He has a bald yellow head with pointy ears and no facial features, instead possessing a sticky note with constantly changing symbols that substitute a face. He has red hands with sharp claws, and wears a long black suit with lighter buttons. Underneath, he wears a brown suit and rose on his neck. Despite what he says, Dratula is evidently a penguin in disguise, as seen from his yellow webbed feet, black tail and white belly. Additionally, his true body can be seen peeking out from underneath the trench coat in the post-credits scene, revealing his orange beak and black pupils.
Personality[]
Dratula is a rather mischievous and outgoing person, as seen from how his first response to seeing ENA is to prank her by claiming to be the Boss, which Froggy quickly shuts down, with the latter also noting it took him a while to make him cooperate and spill the Boss's location. He tends to be rather boastful, flaunting his power and greatness whenever he talks and often repeating his name incessantly. Despite this, Dratula possesses an odd insecurity about actually being a penguin, vehemently denying it whenever he can, even if no one notices or asks.

Chapter 1: Lonely Door[]
Dratula is first seen arguing with Froggy as ENA enters the Hub. When she asks about the Boss's location, Dratula proclaims himself as him, only for Froggy to shut him down instantly. Dratula admits his lie and introduces himself as "the great Dratula", annoying Froggy again. ENA begins to make a sales pitch to him, confusing Froggy, but her meanie side quickly helps her re-focus on the job. Froggy tells her that he managed to get Dratula to spill the Boss's location on a nearby island, but as ENA is late, they're running out of time to find him. ENA admits that she's forgotten some details about her job, so Froggy briefs her on the job details. However, the cigarette smoke in the air triggers Froggy's allergies, with Froggy yelling at Dratula to shut up when he announces his name again. Thus, ENA is tasked with turning the smoke off to allow her and Froggy to advance with their journey.
Dratula can be interacted with later on, during which ENA asks if he's actually the person that found out the Boss's location. Dratula, however, ignores her question and accuses her of calling him a stinky penguin. ENA denies him, though after remarking to herself that she knows someone who could get him one, Dratula demands for her to stop, informing her of his telepathic abilities. Afterwards, Dratula can be talked to again, though he mostly boasts about himself.
In the post-credits scene, Dratula can be seen annoying Froggy again, the latter having recovered from his allergic reactions after ENA shut down the smoke. Suddenly, the nearby mannequin begins mutating and eventually ENA respawns from it, shocking the duo and Coral Glasses. Froggy chastises ENA for being unprofessional, stating that people might get "other ideas".
Trivia[]
- Despite his namesake, Dratula appears to largely be based off Count Orlok from Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror, as evidenced by his bald head, claws and pointed ears.
- Dratula's voice is largely based off the voice his voice actor, Vinesauce, used to dub the NPC Dracula in his playthrough of the RPG Space Funeral, with Dratula's voice line of "good mornink" being based off Dracula's "good evenink" and both saying their names very often. Additionally, Dratula's true identity as a penguin seems to be based off the fact the song that plays in Dracula's room is titled "Penguin's Dance".
- Space Funeral has been referenced in the ENA series before, however, as Gabo's remark of "drink the blood and smoke the banana" in Temptation Stairway is a censored version of a quote from Dracula: "I like to drink blood... and smoke the weed!"
- While he plays a relatively minor role in the first chapter, Dratula's frequent appearances in the trailers and Vinesauce's confirmation that he's recorded more lines for him heavily imply that he will be a major character in future chapters.
