The Duramboros are a species that appears in the fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
Physiology[]
Duramboros is a large, heavyset, muscular monster with a thick upper torso and stocky, strong legs. Its outer hide is extremely thick and creased heavily, and a row of armored plates runs along its back and tail. The most characteristic characteristics of Duramboros are its enormous tail club, its two forehead horns, and its two energetic dorsal humps. Because of their sluggish lifestyle, duramboroses frequently develop a covering of moss and algae on their hide, which is particularly noticeable along the back.
Behavior[]
As a herbivore, Duramboros mostly feeds on fallen tree trunks. It can push or knock down weak or dead trees to make it easier for it to eat by using its hammer-like tail club and pair of ram-like horns. Duramboros is normally peaceful, although he can become aggressive if agitated. It is well renowned for attacking enemies with its tail club, horns, and general bulk. Its ability to spin in place while utilizing its tail club as a counterbalance to gain speed is one of its most unusual habits. This allows it to launch itself at an enemy and stomp them with its body.
Habitat[]
Because of its food, the locations with dense forests, such the Flooded Forest or Misty Peaks, are where Duramboros is most frequently found.
