~ Elisabeth to an unconscious Sue. |
Elisabeth Sparkle is the main protagonist in The Substance.
She is one of the most desired and successful actresses of Hollywood back in her younger years. However, age is rapidly diminishing her and status, so she’s clearly had a long career she’s proud of. But she’s forced to brutally confront her approach to its inevitable end when she overhears her sleazy executive producer, Harvey, scheming to replace her with Sue, a younger and "better" version of her.
She was portrayed by Demi Moore.
Appearance[]
Elisabeth is in her early 50s. She has straight black hair and green eyes. As she is an aerobics instructor, she has a skinny physique, but not so "perfect" due to her age.
Personality[]
Elisabeth starts the film insecure over her aging looks and turns to the Substance to give her a fresh lease on life. She is very soft-spoken and friendly towards other people.
Biography[]
TBA
Trivia[]
- Elisabeth previously had a page on the Villains Wiki, but it was removed because unlike Sue, she lacked any villainous traits.
