The Giant Squid is the main antagonist in Pixar's 17th full-length animated feature picture Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo. While searching for Charlie and Jenny, Dory, Marlin, and Nemo come upon this giant squid.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Biography[]
Crabs keep shushing Dory, Marlin, and Nemo as they swim along after they unintentionally land amid the debris of a sunken cargo ship from the California Current. Eventually, through the shadows of a submerged shipping container, Dory spots the squid's eye and its intimidating beak. The squid follows Dory, Marlin, and Nemo around the wreckage while Marlin begs it to let them go. The squid catches hold of Nemo and almost devours him, but fortunately for him, Marlin, and Dory, the enormous ocean predator becomes trapped in a submerged shipping box while pursuing the group. As a result, the squid is crushed as the container collapses on top of it.
Later, during the end credits, the enormous squid is shown, but just its eye is visible from within the container. As of right now, it's unclear what will happen to the squid because this could just be for the credits. In that moment, Hank flees from the huge squid by hiding inside the container it is hiding in.
