The Giaprey, also called the White Velociprey in Monster Hunter Freedom, are Bird Wyverns that were first seen in Monster Hunter G.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
Their scales are sparkling blue with streaks of sky blue. White Velociprey have been observed in groups of Velociprey, although being of a different species. The '-prey' family as a whole, including this subspecies, fights in packs.
Abilities[]
They are considerably tougher than their peers in combat and have a little more physical and defensive strength than the typical Velociprey. In second-generation games, they also acquired the ability to assault hunters by spitting ice, which allowed them to freeze opponents like the Blangonga. They're not much more hazardous than Velociprey, despite being stronger.
