It was about pony sized, but it had a very defining feature: a beak.] Rainbow Dash: (freaking out) Is…is that….is…that..? Pinkamena: (mimicking Gilda's voice) "Hey, Dash! let's hang together. These ponies are lame-os. Dweebs, dweebs, dweebs." (normal voice) I caught her right before she left town. Remember when I left the party for about twenty minutes? That wasn’t enough time to play with her, of course. I had to wait till after the party to do that. But boy am I glad I did! It was worth for the flavor alone. Griffons taste like two animals at once; It’s amazing. I know she didn’t have a number like everyone else in Ponyville, but when was I gonna get another chance to try a griffon? In hindsight, I probably should have asked where she came from so I can get more, but I forgot. I’ll tell you what, though, she was quite the fighter. She lasted a long time, which was a lot of fun for me. I got a chance to play with somebody other than a pony and tried new things! It’s too bad she had such a meanie mouth. She said so much bad stuff, I had to take her tongue out. You know, bad language makes for bad feelings, Rainbow Dash. [Rainbow Dash didn’t have anything to say, as she just sobbed and writhed at the loss of her childhood friend.]	„

Gilda is a minor character from the infamous My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic horror fanfiction and creepypasta Cupcakes, which was written by Drecker Jones under the pen name "Sergeant Sprinkles". Gilda is one of the victims of Pinkamena.

Biography[]

While Gilda does not have any lines in the Creepypasta, it was mentioned that Gilda was caught by Pinkamena herself before she left Ponyville due to Pinkamena's morbid curiosity of what Griffon meat tasted like while Pinkamena had "left the party for twenty minutes" because Pinkamena wanted to "play" (in other words, torture) with Gilda.

It is very likely that Pinkamena gave Gilda a poisoned cupcake before taking her to the basement of Sugarcube Corner. Pinkamena would decide to "play" with Gilda, with Gilda struggling and trying to fight back to fend for herself, but to no avail due to likely being strapped to a table. Gilda would make the fatal mistake of insulting Pinkamena in some way, which lead to Pinkamena removing Gilda's tongue, leading to Gilda to die from suffocating from her own blood.

It is also heavily implied that Pinkamena decapitated Gilda's lifeless body, removed the feathers and skin in order to obtain Gilda's skull so Pinkamena could paint it and keep the skull as a decoration.

Pinkamena would be shown in the story to show Gilda's skull to Rainbow Dash, much to the latter's heartbreak that her childhood friend was murdered.

Personality[]

Due to presumably being killed before the story of the Creepypasta had taken place or having not appeared being alive, nothing is known much about who Gilda was like in this adaptation. However, by the way Pinkamena imitates Gilda, it is likely that Gilda was an egotistical jerk like in canon.

Why isn't she heroic or villainous?[]

She is merely portrayed as a victim rather than an active force in the story.
She doesn't even have enough screen-time other than her remains, her own skull, and being mentioned by Pinkamena.
She doesn't do anything villainous in the story. While it was described by Pinkamena as being a jerk, that still doesn't give Gilda enough personality in the story.

Trivia[]

The reason Pinkamena decided to kidnap Gilda was due to her morbid curiosity of what Griffon meat tasted like, in which Pinkamena enjoyed the taste after trying some.
This is the first version of Gilda to be added as an adaptational Neutral Character.
