	~ gods_god's last words before being assimilated.

Gods_god is the deuteragonist of of [SFM/HORROR] SERVERBLIGHT: Awareness, the sixth episode of the SFM horror series Serverblight by 2IdiotGermans. He is a Team Fortress 2 player who fell victim to the enigmatic titular Serverblight while he was trying to show one of his friends how to play the game.

Gods_god was voiced by YouTuber Dregobob.

Past[]

At some point, gods_god downloaded Team Fortress 2, gaining cosmetics and experience. He also befriended two fellow gamers- Greymatter, a fellow TF2 player, and Nexos, who was very inexperienced in TF2. At some point, gods_god introduced Nexos to Greymatter.

Awareness[]

One day, gods_god joined a TF2 Doublecross server on RED alongside Greymatter and Nexos, intending to show Nexos how to play and to get him and Greymatter to get along. gods_god went Soldier while Greymatter went Heavy and Nexos went Scout, Nexos first having some trouble with TF2 controls due to being more adept with Minecraft. gods_god found a fierce battle between the teams on the bridge, where a very experienced BLU Sniper (Pastra_gushes) was picking off RED players with ease.

Together, the three went out to fight their way through the bridge, not realizing that players started disappearing, including Pastra_gushes. However, their focus remained on a BLU Heavy/Medic pair standing in their way, with gods_god managing to convince Nexos to take them on at close range, allowing Nexos and Greymatter to kill the enemy players. gods_god then showed Nexos how to taunt, Nexos relating it to Fortnite emotes and Minecraft crouching to Greymatter's annoyance, although gods_god tried to assure him that Nexos would get the hang of TF2 within a day. gods_god then showed Nexos how to partner taunt, before Greymatter led the pair down to the lower bridge to go into BLU base through the sewers.

The three took fall damage while dropping down, with Nexos staying behind with gods_god to get a health pack, Greymatter going on ahead into the sewers. Then, a RED Soldier (Sigismund0) approached from the far side of the bridge, Nexos taunting on him and joking over getting the health pack first. Sigismund0 stared at the Scout for a moment before replicating the exact default Scout taunt that Nexos used, something normally impossible for another class, before running off. Nexos and gods_god were left confused and unnerved by this, but gods_god managed to write it off as yet another bug that the game is known to be full of.

Joining up with Greymatter in the sewers and getting into BLU base, gods_god assumed the BLU team was camping the intel, as they had now noticed an odd absence of enemies, but Greymatter instead proposed they charge the intel. However, as they got into the base, they found a continued absence of players, confusing them. Figuring they got lucky, gods_god reminded them that they were one point away from winning the game, but as he was explaining that to Nexos, a frightened BLU Soldier (theGrimJester) rushed down from BLU spawn and attacked the three in a panic, killing Greymatter before being killed by Nexos. While waiting to respawn, Greymatter deadpanned that now it was up to the pair.

Deciding to finish the job, gods_god and Nexos continued on, getting into the courtyard next to BLU intel, the two saw a BLU Spy (Panzerkampf) standing in the high-five partner taunt position, but unnaturally stiff with a forced smile and no taunt icon. Figuring he was a friendly, and likely attributing the oddities to more bugs, gods_god tried to high-five Panzerkampf, but kept doing default taunts while the Spy remained frozen. Nexos then grabbed the BLU intel and tried to leave out the far side of the intel room, only to come across a horrifying sight- an amalgamation of distorted players. As it turns out, the server was already infected by the Serverblight, a supernatural predator that hunted and assimilated TF2 players across servers, and was the cause of the strange happenings until then.

Returning to gods_god, Nexos insisted that the two leave immediately, which triggered Panzerkampf to attack, revealing him as assimilated as well. As Panzerkampf lowered his arms in a manner impossible in-game, gods_god was frightened, stepping back and watching in horror as the Spy's head split into three fused heads, Panzerkampf's arms and fingers stretching out as he gave chase to the pair. gods_god quickly blasted the assimilated Spy apart with his rocket launcher, getting back to the upper bridge with Nexos, the two pausing and panicking as Nexos tried to disconnect only to find the option disabled. Nexos then cryptically said he had seen this before, but before gods_god could get answers on that, an elongated assimilated Heavy arm reached up from under the bridge and grabbed gods_god's leg. gods_god sobbed that he only wanted Nexos and Greymatter to be friends before being pulled down and assimilated, leaving Nexos to run on alone.

Nexos ultimately escaped the Serverblight by capturing the intel at RED base, making him automatically disconnect. However, all the assimilated players, including gods_god, remained in the game and simply reset to their respective spawns as the game started a new round, new players to assimilate joining.
