Monster Hunter G introduces the Gold Rathian, a female Flying Wyvern and a Rare Species of Rathian.
Physiology[]
Although she has some noticeable abnormalities, she nonetheless possesses the typical traits of a Rathian uncommon species. From head to tail, her body is encased in an incredibly durable golden shell, which also makes her challenging to assault without the Hunter's weapon bouncing off. Notably, it is marginally bigger than the typical Rathian. Blue flames cover her head, torso, and the space between her neck and wings as she enters her "Incandescent" stage.
Abilities[]
Like other Rathians, Gold Rathians can shoot fireballs and cause the Poison sickness, but they are most vulnerable to the Thunder Element. Compared to the ordinary species, it can regulate and use its flame sac more fiercely. It has the ability to transform into the Incandescent state, which intensifies its strikes.
Behavior[]
In order to survive, Gold Rathians need to be extremely aggressive, which explains why they are more aggressive than other common species and subspecies.
Habitat[]
The Ancient Tower, Misty Peaks, and, less frequently, the wetlands are where Gold Rathian is most frequently seen. Given the Gold Rathian is far more resilient than the other two Rathians, it is reasonable to suppose that it might live in the same settings. Gold Rathian is located in the Elder's Recess and the Guiding Lands in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
