The Gowngoat is a diminutive herbivor that appears inbthe science fantasy videogame Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Appearance[]
Similar to slagtoths, gowngoats have brown fuzzy patches that stretch from their back and around their neck. They have a long, fluffy furry patch that extends from their lower backs to their tails. They have a crest on their forehead with two short horns that protrude from it, and their ears have long tuffs that resemble ears and fall below their skull. They have scales covering their forelegs and the middle of their back, which is hairless. Their hooves are cloven.
Behavior[]
Herds of docile herbivores, gowngoats spend most of their time sleeping or grazing. It is thought that these animals' long, fluffy tails enable them to either conceal and shield their young or curl into balls to resemble rocks and deceive predators. Instead of fighting, they will run to safety if they see danger.
