Great Maccao are a species that appear in the fantasy videogame Monster Hunter.
They are Bird Wyverns introduced in Monster Hunter Generations.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
The Great Maccao is distinguished from its Maccao pack by its feathery crest. A Great Maccao resembles its younger relatives on the outside, but it is larger, thicker, and has more colorful plumage. It can move quickly and kick enemies with its strong legs, and it can jump and drive itself ahead with incredible force because to its spiky tail.
Abilities[]
Great Maccao can move quickly and kick opponents with its strong legs. It is able to propel itself forward by standing on its tail. Because it depends on its tail for movement and offensive ability, it will be severely limited if it sustains damage to it.
Behavior[]
In contrast to other Theropod Bird Wyverns, the Great Maccao shows little to no pack leadership. It would much sooner flee than stick around and support Maccao in battle. It is known, nonetheless, to pursue huge prey in packs.
Habitat[]
The Ancestral Steppe and Jurassic Frontier have been observed to be home to Great Maccao.
