The Hardcore Helper is the overarching antagonist of the Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Season 5 episode "Hardcore Manhunt".
It is an armor stand apart of the titular group that was created by Yellow in order to serve him and his friends. After a mysterious glitch caused the game to be set to the Hardcore mode, this specific armor stand was killed by Green to test out the mode's permanent death function. The death of this armor stand caused the other six stands to turn on their masters as a result.
From its limited screen time, the Hardcore Helper is insufficiently characterized. It doesn't do anything villainous since its fight against Green was only for training purposes or heroic since it only helped Yellow with serving him and the other stick figures.
Appearance[]
The Hardcore Helper is simply a wooden armor stand that doesn't wear anything. It weld a weapon when in a training session with Green.
Biography[]
After Yellow used the command block staff to build him and the other stick figures a house and a setting to relax in, he immediately created seven sentient armor stands, one of these being the Hardcore Helper to serve them. The Hardcore Helper would assist moving the stick figures' items and later playfight with Green. After a corruption causes the command block staff to set the game mode to Hardcode, the stick figures test this out with Red attempting to beat up Green. Instead, the Second Coming proposes the use the Hardcore Helper as the sacrificial lamb to test out the feature since they believe that the stand will simply respawn. Green kills the Hardcore Helper and it doesn't respawn in the bed since the mode means permanent death. The demise of the Hardcore Helper sends the other six armor stands into a paranoid frenzy as they turn on their masters, believing they will be killed next.
