Harry, or Harry the Bear, is a minor character that is mentioned in the story of "An Apple Sleep Experiment" and later appears in the sequel "Another Apple Sleep Experiment", which were both written by Magpiepony. He is Fluttershy's beloved pet bunny.

Why Isn't He Heroic Or Villainous?[]

He has very little characterization and has not done any villainous actions nor has done enough heroic actions, thus making him not be considered a hero nor a villain.

Biography[]

While not explicity mentioned nor seen in this story, Applejack does mention of how Fluttershy would gather Apples from Sweet Apple Acres like they were "tame critters", similar to how Fluttershy has tamed many animals in order to make friends with them. The reason for this, while never mentioned, was very likely so Fluttershy can feed them. Although, it is mentioned clearly by Applejack herself that she is not be too keen about Fluttershy doing that. However, it is unclear whether or not if this is actually what she does not like or if it is due to the irritability due to not getting any sleep; but since that Applejack is characteristically shown to tell the truth most of the time, it would likely be the former.

In the chapter "Twilight's Commemoration Preparation", Fluttershy has mentioned that she hadn't fed her animals (which included Harry, Angel, and many of the other forest creatures) all day and that she could use Rainbow Dash's help, with Rainbow Dash being willing to help her.

However, later in the chapter "Room for one more, Fluttershy?" during the audio adaptation, Harry can be shown to be getting angry due to not being fed, despite Fluttershy feeding them three times since Fluttershy came to the cottage. Thankfully, Fluttershy does decide to feed them.

Later, Harry is shown to be eating food from his bowl alongside with the other animals. Harry and the animals were shown to not be reacting to Applejack at all and are refusing to budge, while Fluttershy was panicking when she saw Applejack. However, after Angel Bunny got killed, the animals, as well as Harry would seem to be "corrupted" by dark magic by Applejack". However, when Harry attacks Fluttershy, Fluttershy would retaliate by snapping Harry's neck, killing him.

However, in the final chapter "Loose Ends and Lost Friends", it would be revealed that Applejack was never even in the cottage, the animals were not corrupted, and that the animals (including Harry) had only attacked in retaliation after Fluttershy had killed Angel by accident due to the affects of the potion gas. However, the animals' retaliation would only lead to more animals being killed.
