Biography[]
Herb Curbler competes in the 2016 Piston Cup season in Cars 3, replacing Tommy Highbanks as the Faux Wheel Drive racer and proving to be a very good opponent. He debuts at the Heartland Motor Speedway, where he finishes in fifth place. At the Los Angles 500, he starts next to Buck Bearingly, and the two are seen repeatedly passing and dueling with each other, with Herb permanently overtaking him at one point. During the race, he likely reaches the top three at one point until he is passed by Lightning McQueen and then Danny Swervez, ultimately finishing in ninth place. During the Florida 500, he starts in fifth position and stays in the top ten for the entire race, managing to avoid getting involved in the wreck caused by Cam Spinner unlike other racers. Later in the race, he pits with Cruz Ramirez who later manages to pass him. Herb finishes the race in seventh place.
Trivia[]
- It is unknown why he has the same name as the tow truck.
- His livery is similar to Next-Gen Shiny Wax racer Conrad Camber.
