Hypnocatrice are a species that are from the science fantasy videogame Monster Hunter Frontier Season 1.0.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
The medium-sized Bird Wyvern Hypnocatrice has vivid, multicolored feathers all over her body. Its big feet and muscular legs support a robust, pointed beak. Despite seeming feathered, Hypnocatrice uses membraned wings like to those of a pterosaur or bat to fly; its feather arrangement is purely decorative. It may emit a colorless mist that can render opponents unconscious since it has a sleep sac.
Abilities[]
It has a sleeping sac attached to it that may slumber hunters and other monsters. Its powerful kicks are facilitated by its strong legs, and its tiny stature and low weight enable it to move quickly and deftly in combat.
Behavior[]
Although hypnocatrice is not a very territorial or violent animal, it will defend itself if it feels threatened.
Habitat[]
Although they have been observed in arid regions like the desert, hypnocatrices are usually found in lush settings like the Great Forest or Jungle.
