Iodrome is a Bird Wyvern introduced in Monster Hunter.
Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]
Physiology[]
It has a bigger crest and is noticeably larger than an average ioprey. Iodrome resembles an amphibian more than other pack leaders, with a neck sac like a frog and salamander-like skin that looks to shine with wetness. It is likewise devoid of the pointed claws of its kin, depending instead on poison to take down opponents and prey such as Aptonoth.
Abilities[]
It is not as powerful as Flying Wyverns, but its group and poison may soon render hunters helpless. Iodrome is a hazard because of its poison, great strength, speed, and agility. Iodrome spits poison from the poison sac in its throat when it feels threatened.
Behavior[]
Iodrome, the leader of an ioprey pack, constantly travels in the company of its pack for security.
Habitat[]
Iodrome may be found in the Everwood as of Monster Hunter 4, however it is most frequently observed in the various swamp and volcano zones.
