In Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, the Brute Wyvern Jade Barroth was introduced as a Barroth subspecies.
Physiology[]
They are called Ice Crushing Wyverns, and they protect themselves by covering themselves with snow, much like Barroth do. In comparison to its desert relative, the Jade Barroth has a slightly bigger crown.
Abilities[]
To inflict Snowman on the Hunter, the Jade Barroth can execute head slams, U-turn charges through the snow, and shake off its snow.
Behavior[]
Being rather volatile, Jade Barroth can be submissive if not provoked and like a wide berth. These animals, however, may be living nightmares when enraged since they will attack, bite, whip their tails, and stomp their victims until they are dead.
Habitat[]
In contrast to their Sandy Plains bog-dwelling relatives, the Jade Barroth live in the Tundra's icy wasteland. These enormous theropods lead a difficult life here since they must contend with the large local predators and the extremely difficult access to food.
