Jang Do-Yeong (장도영 Jang Do-yeong), also known as Player 198 is a minor character of the Netflix's K-drama Squid Game. He was a contestant in the 37th Squid Game.
He was portrayed by Park Hyun-chul.
Why isn't He Heroic or Villainous?[]
- While he was among those voted O to continue the game, it's possible it was done because he still need more money to pay his debts of 1,4 billion won.
- While he caused his teammates to be killed (and possibly other players's, since his team was the first team to play and his team's lost discouraged them), this was done out of incompetence than malice, and when he realize his team is going to be shot, he's also fearful for his life.

Trivia[]
- Do-yeong is the player with the most time spent in a minigame in Six Legged Pentathlon, as it took him 250 seconds to win Flying Stone.
- He would need to survive Hide-and-Seek to have enough money to pay his debt.
- His team's elimination is one of the three case where both teams on the two track were eliminated at the same time.
- His extreme incompetence had become a meme in the community, with people dubbed him as "The worst teammate one could ask for", because of how it took him more than 80% of the timer to beat a fairly simple game, especially since he was among the O voters.
