The Jhen Mohran are an Elder Dragon species that appears in the fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter 3.

Physiology

Jhen Mohran is a monstrous creature of immense size, possessing a lengthy, nearly serpentine physique. Its tusks are strong and pointed on both sides, making them breakable for hunters. It moves by swimming in the sand or by dragging its massive torso and arms along the ground because its back legs are vestigial. Its back has a stony spine that contains rich minerals.

Behavior

Jhen Mohran is normally a peaceful creature, but if it feels threatened, it will attack any incoming dragonships. It tosses big stones from its back and smashes the ship with its body in self-defense. It ignores the hunters clambering up its back, preferring to concentrate on the Dragonship.

Habitat

It's exclusive to the Great Desert.
