	~ JonyDany12 suffering under the Serverblight

JonyDany12 is a major character in the YouTube video series Serverblight by 2IdiotGermans. He is a young, inexperienced Team Fortress 2 player who fell victim to the monstrous Serverblight, and unintentionally enabled the Serverblight to spread to other servers.

Why aren't they heroic or villainous?[]

He was just a noob who was caught in a horrific situation he simply wanted to escape from, not having any heroic or villainous goals beyond playing Team Fortress 2.

Biography[]

Past[]

At some point, JonyDany12 downloaded Team Fortress 2. Evidently a very new player, he earned a Ghastly Gibus and Pyrovision Goggles, typical of early free-to-play players.

Migration[]

One day, JonyDany12 joined a Team Fortress 2 Casual server, specifically Thunder Mountain. Upon spawning in on RED team, choosing Engineer as his character, Jony ran out of the respawn room to start setting up, noticing a fellow RED player, GUILLIESUIT, say "I'm having so much fun!" in the chat. Jony responded positively and set out to build a sentry, noticing that the BLU payload was almost at the last point. However, Jony noticed no other players around, and GUILLIESUIT kept sending the same message in chat, ignoring Jony when he asked if any enemy players were around. Annoyed by the repetition, Jony went to search for players. However, Jony found no one, until he entered a building where he saw GUILLIESUIT.

GUILLIESUIT, in defiance of game mechanics, was laying on the stairs with his lower half out of view, repeatedly slamming his face into the ground with a deranged smile. Not knowing what was going on, Jony asked what that was, not realizing that his mind was starting to be transported into the game- his fear and shock was reflected on his playermodel. However, before Jony could question further, the Serverblight- a monstrous, assimilating amalgamation of players that stalked the server- charged up the stairs in a tangled mass of distorted limbs and fingers, screaming for help in many voices, having used the half-assimilated GUILLIESUIT as a lure.

Frightened, Jony backed off, and disconnected just as the creature was reaching out to him. However, unbeknownst to Jony, the Serverblight- which previously prevented players from disconnecting- allowed him to leave ^[1]^[2]. Most importantly, it had managed to touch Jony's left leg, starting the process of assimilating him. This allowed the Serverblight to learn how to disconnect and jump servers, making the creature let out an eerie "Thank you" before chasing Jony across the game.

SERVERBLIGHT[]

Jony joined a new server sometime afterwards, where the Serverblight immediately followed and partially assimilated him, distorting Jony's left leg and connecting it to its main mass. Jony's mind was fully sucked into the game, where he was tortured by the Serverblight, driving Jony to despair. Eventually, the Serverblight joined a Snowycoast community server, where a player who previously escaped it, dicksalot, was playing with his friend Hector0n. As dicksalot and Hector0n tried to fight the Serverblight to make their way to the end of the map, Hector0n becoming infected by the Serverblight early on, the Serverblight eventually deposited JonyDany12 outside the last RED respawn room, where its main mass was hidden, as to use Jony as a lure.

Jony, fully transported into the game, was able to feel every in-game sensation as real. Left lying in the snow with his left leg stretched unnaturally and connected to the monster tormenting him, Jony sobbed and shivered as dicksalot and Hector0n approached. Jony, thinking he must be dead, asked why "heven" was so cold, and dicksalot, moved by the heartbreaking scene, drew his shotgun to put Jony out of his misery. However, the Serverblight then burst out to attack dicksalot, making dicksalot and Hector0n flee and leave Jony behind.

PUPPET[]

JonyDany12 remained part of the gestalt, screaming with the other assimilated players as the Serverblight attacked a Spy who had recently joined the match.

The subsequent non-serialized video The TRAGEDY of JonyDany12 implies that he may have been completely assimilated by the Serverblight afterwards, rendered effectively dead. Additionally, as confirmed in Assimilation, JonyDany12's real-world body would likely be dead or comatose. He has not been seen since, leaving his status unknown.

JonyDany12 was given a lengthy, mournful analysis by YouTube user NoBody-hl1rs, which in turn was made into a short voiced video by 2IdiotGermans, titled The TRAGEDY of JonyDany12.
- While not part of the main series, this video seemed to confirm speculation that JonyDany12 is a young child, perhaps actually 12 years old or younger. This is further supported by his inexperienced gameplay, stereotypical noob loadout, and the poor grammar and spelling mistakes in his chat messages. same as scubamaster96.
2IdiotGermans released a short titled "The Good Ending" as a non-canon alternate ending to Migration. In the short, when the Serverblight allowed JonyDany12 to disconnect, it failed to touch him in time, allowing the young player to safely escape. Robbed of its chance to figure out how to hop servers, the Serverblight simply let out a distorted "[bleep] you" as it was left stranded on Thunder Mountain.
JonyDany12 saying 'Is this Heven?' while wearing the PyroVision Goggles could mean that he was seeing the map in PyroLand, which could be the reason as to why he believed it was Heaven, and why he asked why it was cold.
Notably, while The Empty Server and Migration were confirmed to have been Casual servers, JonyDany12 was capable of using the text chat. This implies that he may not actually be an F2P, as at the time the video was made, F2P players were unable to use the chat.
- While assumed to be an F2P due to his loadout, it is possible that he bought an item from the Mann Co store that upgraded his account but was simply not part of his Engineer loadout.
