Josh "Noodles" Rivera is a minor character who appeared in the movie, Monsters, Inc.

Majoring in criminal justice, Rivera attended Vicious State. After realizing his ability to frighten, nevertheless, three years later, Rivera was hired by Fear Co. Before he started working at Monsters, Inc., he relocated to Scream Industries.

When Boo made her way out of the Monster World, Rivera was employed by Monsters, Inc. With Betty as his helper, Rivera was working on Scare Floor F, gathering screams, hours before she arrived. Rivera peaked at number five on the Scarer's Leaderboard, much behind leaders James P. Sullivan and Randall Boggs. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski converted the fear floor into a laugh floor when Boo was brought back to her house in the Human World, and Rivera started gathering energy by getting kids to laugh rather than scream.
The company play "Put That Thing Back Where It Came From Or So Help Me" featured Rivera in the part of himself.
A fear card with Rivera's physical and biographical details and scare records was sent to him at some time during his career.
Appearance[]
Rivera is a tall, slender monster with two eyes on small stalks, four shorter tentacles for legs, and six long tentacles for arms. He weighs 208 pounds and has orange skin with green stripes around his legs and pink tips on his arms. His tongue is turquoise and he has a snake-like appearance.
With the exception of his lack of a mustache and fifth limb, Josh looks a lot like Tony. Several backdrop monsters, like the Waiter at Harryhausen's, are modelled by Rivera.
