Kim Cressly is one of the characters from the Big Nate series. She is the love interest of Chester Budrick, though she has her eyes on the main protagonist, Nate Wright, whom she tries to get him to date her, even though Nate is clearly not into her at all.
Personality[]
Throughout the series, Kim is shown to have little to no concept on what true romance is about which is shown on multiple occasions where she forces Nate to go out with her and threatens him instead of being courteous and respectful of his space. Even though she currently goes with Chester, she is shown time and again that she is inconsistent on which boy she prefers to be with and her fluctuating between wanting to be with Nate or with Chester whether or not she knows that the former is into him, which shows that she has no commitment to either of them.
