The Lagombi are a species that are from the science fantasy videogame, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
Physiology[]
Lagombi has the appearance of a cross between a rabbit, a bear, and a wombat. Its little red eyes and beak-like lips are part of its face, and it has long, extremely sensitive ears. Lagombi has a low-friction belly that is designed to allow it to slide on the ice like a sled. To stay warm in its sub-zero native country, it is clad in a thick fur coat.
Abilities[]
To be safe from predators, Lagombi has excellent hearing. Fortunately for hunters, Yian Kut-Ku's vulnerability to loud noises like Sonic Bombs is also present. It rams enemies by hurling pieces of ice, swiping with its claws, and gliding about on its belly. It moves like a penguin, sliding on its belly to go from one place to another. Lagombi has two new moves in Monster Hunter 4: the ability to launch a piece of ice straight upward to strike ascending hunters, and a leap attack that is followed by a roll.
Behavior[]
Lagombi is generally peaceful, but if disturbed or threatened, he will become aggressive. Its preference for Bnahabra suggests that it is an insectivore.
Habitat[]
The arctic habitats of the tundra, the frozen seaway, and the Frost Islands are ideal for Lagombi's special evolution.
