Lindy Pepper-Bean is the main protagonist of "Dot and Bubble" episode of Disney+ era Doctor Who.
She was portrayed by Callie Cooke.
Story[]
Dot and Bubble[]
After she woke up at the morning, she turned her Dot and Bubble, and received a call from unknown person; the Doctor, but she blocked him as she apparently was disgusted by him (can be said by her look on her face).
Later, when she's on work, she receives a call from yet another unknown person, this time - Ruby Sunday. Lindy was pretty hostile towards Ruby, by calling her "stupid" and "child", when Ruby was suggesting her to lower the bubble, she clearly got annoyed, and then switched her away. But then, Ruby managed to speak with her, but Lindy noticed that she slid Ruby away earlier. Ruby managed to make her look around the room, without lowering Bubble, and she noticed that no one's in the room. Ruby then reveals that Lindy's co-worker; Bertie Lester, sits on the right. As Lindy looked at the right, without lowering the Bubble, she saw the Mantrap barely, eating Bertie alive, and Lindy got scared, but Ruby convinced her to lower the Bubble and look at the right, and she then clearly saw the Mantrap eating Bertie alive, and Lindy is fully scared now. She then activated Dot and Bubble, and slid Ruby away to random people just to calm down herself, then she stopped at Ricky September, but Ruby managed to slid in somehow again, and Ruby tells Lindy that she got friend who can help, and then the Doctor joins the conversation again, and she clearly annoyed by him, telling him "Leave me alone", and she begun accusing Doctor about Mantrap like it's something it have to do with Doctor. Doctor tells her to lower the Bubble, and walk out from the office, and Doctor tells her that Dot apparently can't see these creatures. Ruby convinced Lindy to lower Bubble and Dot off. As Lindy begun walking, she got tripped, as she can't walk properly without arrows, and she activates Dot and Bubble, and she tells Ruby and Doctor that she don't know how to walk. She then told Dot to show her exit, and arrows leads her to elevator doors, and she summoned the elevator. As the elevator doors opened, the Mantrap is revealed, but as Lindy backed away, Mantrap didn't touched Lindy, nor cared about her that much. Lindy then entered the elevator, and Doctor begun making suggestion why Mantrap didn't touched Lindy, but she then calls the Finetime Police which is apparently busy.
As the elevator arrived on first floor, Lindy came out to the street. She stopped, and Doctor convinced her to low the Bubble for 10 seconds. She did that, and she saw that Mantraps are everywhere, eating people alive, even in the apartments, yet some people are left alone. She turned Dot and Bubble on, and ran into hiding. Ruby and Doctor contacted her again, and they're telling her that they can't reach Lindy and Doctor begun questioning what it's like on street, and she begun describing what it's like outside. Doctor is confused why Mantraps didn't touched Lindy, and why Dots can't see Mantraps. Lindy tells Doctor and Ruby that Mantraps maybe came from the outer world which is beyond the Finetime, and she doesn't know how they've got in, same as Doctor, and he tells that protection of Finetime is so great that he even stuck outside. Ruby asked Lindy what Finetime is, and "stupid" insult again, explaining what Finetime is: a place for 17-27 years old rich people from Homeworld, and no "stinky oldfarts", and she tells Ruby and Doctor that her mommy paid for her life in Finetime, as Lindy's mother: Penny Pepper-Bean, and she entered the conversation, happy for Lindy. Then Doctor and Ruby got confused, as Penny was the face of Villengard Corporation's AI Ambulance from Kastarion 3, while Ruby remembers her from elsewhere. Then Lindy suspected that Doctor and Ruby that they're in same room, then Doctor reveals that he and Ruby are in the same room, and she begun saying that it's conspiracy, then she remembers that Doctor blocked her, but then he reveals that he unblocked himself with Sonic Screwdriver, and Lindy begun having mental breakdown, activating the group chat protocol, and she begun telling her friends that most of her friends gone missing. Doctor and Ruby then slid in as Gothic Paul begun speaking with Lindy. As he was speaking with Lindy, Mantrap ate Gothic Paul, scaring everyone in the group call, and Lindy begun crying. And Doctor unmuted himself and Ruby with Sonic Screwdriver, and he squeezed in using Sonic Screwdriver. Lindy then tells everyone in group chat that it's wrong and when everything will over, Doctor will be "so disciplined". Doctor then reveals everyone that there are tunnels which can lead everyone outside, to escape the Mantraps. He sent everyone locations via Sonic Screwdriver. Ruby warns everyone that they need to be careful. As Doctor begun making theories of why Mantraps didn't ate Lindy, it reveals that Dot got low power, and Ruby jokes about the "battery power". Before Dot got turned off, Doctor told Lindy to go to Plaza 55.
Lindy begun walking towards Plaza 55, she stumbles upon lamppost, and tries to walk in, as she can't walk properly, plus with closed eyes, she managed to walk away from lamppost, just to end up among a lot of Mantraps. She then saw the Plaza 55 label on the building. As she begun walking forward, she almost falls in Mantraps, then someone's voice tells her to turn left, take two steps forward. As she done that, she turned right as the voice said, and it revealed to be Ricky September. Lindy begun walking forward Ricky slowly, when she escaped Mantraps, she hugged Ricky, and reveals that it's her first hug in the entire life.
They then begun walking towards Building Number 7Z2, and he reveals that he turns Dot and Bubble off for the entire day to read, etc. As Lindy saw that Mantraps eating someone alive, Ricky distracts her. They entered the building and Lindy begun charging Dot. As Ricky looked on the screen, to contact the Homeworld, he saw that no one left at Homeworld, and that Mantraps are everywhere. While Ricky was looking at screen, she tells her how Doctor was "horrible" and "so rude". As Lindy asked Ricky what Homeworld said, he lied to her by saying that lines are busy. As Lindy's Dot was charged up, then run into room which ended up as a tunnel which goes underground.
Then ended up in orange-green dark room, which is pretty messy. As Ricky tells her what it was like to work back in "old days" and how tough it was, Lindy then complains about her easy work, how's it "not easy" even if it is. As Ricky saw the door which leads to the river, he sees that it's locked and needs codes. As he asked Lindy for them, she said that she has, and she turns Dot and Bubble on to ask Doctor and Ruby for them. As she told Doctor and Ruby that she's with Ricky September, Doctor and Ruby got surprised, and they apparently both got crush on Ricky. Doctor then tells Ricky that he'll transferring numbers to the lock and that he needs to be fast. As Doctor, Ruby, and Lindy speaks with each other, Doctor then realizes that Mantraps were killing people in the alphabetical order of second names. As Doctor finds someone named Suzie Pentecost, she gets eaten by Mantrap, and Lindy is next, and Lindy is having another breakdown. Ricky calms her down. Doctor then makes the assumption that Mantraps didn't came from outer world, that they were created by something, and it reveals to be a Dot. When Doctor and Ruby tells Lindy to turn Dot off, she lowered Bubble off, but she couldn't turn Dot off, and it begun attacking Lindy. Ricky then begun defending Lindy, with Lindy replacing Ricky by writing the code in. The Dot managed to break the chain and hurt Ricky, while Lindy opens the door as she wrote all the numbers in, and Dot flies towards Lindy. Then Lindy betrays Ricky, be revealing Ricky's true name: Richard Coombes. As Dot begun flying towards Ricky, Lindy escapes, and Dot kills Ricky.
Lindy successfully escapes to the river, and she finds other survivors. Ruby and Doctor gets to Lindy, but she ignores them. Lindy meets Hoochy Pie, the other survivor. Ruby then asks where Ricky is, and Lindy lies to her, that "he went back. He said he had other people to save. She couldn't stop him", and she's unwillingly thanks Ruby, especially the Doctor. And one of survivors reveals that they have to go outside, into the natural world which is outside Finetime, and that Homeworld is fully eradicated by Mantraps, same as Lindy's mother, and Lindy calls her mother "lucky". As Doctor suggests Lindy and other survivors to come with him and Ruby, in TARDIS, Lindy declines that Doctor is not one of them, and other two survivors begun acting racist towards Doctor, revealing Finetime people's true nature. Doctor begs Lindy and other two survivors to come with him, but it's helpless, even if Finetime people will die in the nature, yet it doesn't work, and they all leave, and it leaves Doctor in denial and breakdown, and Ruby in tears.
