Lyn Me is a minor character from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. She is a dancer and singer for the Max Rebo Band.

She was played by Dalyn Chew.

History

When Lyn was a child on her home planet of Ryloth, she lived in a village that was about to be overrun by slavers. The village elders raised enough funds to hire the Mandalorian bounty hunter Boba Fett to exterminate the invaders. Fett's mission was successful, but some villagers were caught in the flames during the battle, and the village school was one of many burned areas. Lyn was one of the children rescued by Fett from the fire. From that day on, Lyn came to view Fett as a hero, and followed his every step through the HoloNet.

As Lyn grew older, she began learning traditional Twi'lek dances, hoping to become a professional entertainer and find work off Ryloth. She got her chance when Max Rebo offered her a position as a backup dancer in his band. As they toured the galaxy, Lyn Me would always seek out Boba Fett in the audience, hoping to meet him and impress him with her dancing. She nearly left the band when she learned that they were going to be taking up residence at Jabba's Palace, but she stayed with the band when she learned that her hero Boba Fett frequented the palace, as he was often hired by the Hutt .

Lyn formed a fast friendship with band members Sy Snootles, Rystáll Sant and Greeata Jendowanian. in 4 ABY, she was eventually reunited with Boba Fett. She was overjoyed to see him, and even more so when he told her that he enjoyed her dance. Boba promised to meet her again, but his plans fell through when Luke Skywalker intervened. The last time she saw him was when Luke and his friends were about to be executed, but instead, it was Boba Fett who fell into the sarlacc pit. Lyn Me barely survived, though she swore vengeance on Skywalker and his associates. She later abandoned her desire for revenge when she discovered that Boba Fett was still alive, and continued searching for him until she found him again.
