One of the 36 Piston Cup racers vying for the Dinoco 400 title at the start of the movie is Mac iCar (also known as Matthew Overtaker), a white Axxelo stock vehicle. He is supported by Apple, a fictionalized version of the actual business of the same name that was established in 1984, the year that their original Macintosh personal computer was introduced, and to which iCar's number also refers.

Biography[]
Mac is one of thirty-six race vehicles to participate in the Motor Speedway of the South's Piston Cup season finale. Chick Hicks was among the vehicles damaged in the collision when he caused the major collision. He finishes the race in about 13th place, far behind Dale Earnhardt Jr. Mac finishes the race in 15th place when The King passes him at one point. In the 2007 Car Finder interactive game, iCar also makes an appearance. His name was originally displayed as Matthew Overtaker in early beta footage, but this was later altered for the final version.
Cars 3 features a similar-looking Apple racer. It's unclear if the racer in this movie is a Mac iCar because some of the veterans from the first Cars movie are back, while others are replaced by new vehicles. Although their eyes are similar, their bodies seem to be different shapes. This unidentified racer most likely took Mac iCar's place after he retired. In the end, this racer was let go, and J.P. took his place.
Appearance[]
The white Axxelo Fission, which is a vehicle that is similar to the actual Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR, has the Apple logo on its hood and the number "84" painted in grey on its roof and doors.
