First seen in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Magma Almudron is a Leviathan and a subspecies of Almudron.
Appearance[]
The hue of Magma Almudron is crimson and bluish gray, and through the fissures between its shell, a red light is visible. Compared to the standard Almudron, it is notably smaller.
Abilities[]
Magma Almudron can hold a magma-mud ball with its tail, just like the normal Almudron holds a mud ball, and it can use the magma bad like a bludgeon to hit its enemies before it explodes the moment it hits the ground. Magma Almudron can also create pillars of magma to stand on before it eventually explodes. Magma Almudron can also use its tail to spread magma along the ground, allowing it to dig into the hot volcanic ground and melt the ground, which causes some of its body parts to heat up and soften.
Behavior[]
Magma Almudron are very violent creatures that attack anyone who enters their territory, even Uroktor, with intense, unyielding rage.
